Please provide me with:
1. A copy of any project plans associated with the implementation of Microsoft OneDrive in your organisation.
2. A copy of any project plans associated with the implementation of Microsoft Sharepoint in your organization.
Devon County Council believes compliance with this request would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time.
This is because IT Services have had a great many projects to implement Microsoft OneDrive, and a further great many projects to implement Microsoft SharePoint in Devon County Council (DCC). There is also a wide range of projects associated with the implementation of these tools, some covering planning to move to O365 and the business case for such, some covering the implementation plan for O365, some covering more specific aspects around either OneDrive and/or SharePoint, some covering the business case for DCC engaging and creating an O365 Adoption and Change programme and team and then the subsequent implementation of this adoption and change programme to embed learning for O365 (inc OneDrive and SharePoint).
These projects reach back as far as 2014/15. As they span the before and after of implementing O365, the plan documents are spread across both network folders and SharePoint folders. Many of the projects spanned several years, and so plans were frequently updated, sometimes on a monthly basis. Additionally, due to their length, some of these projects had multiple project managers with their own ways of recording plans and naming conventions, then the total number of documents and even the effort of finding these is considerable.
3. A copy of any audit reports (to determine the effectiveness of your IT Service Desk or IT Helpdesk) undertaken on your IT Service Desk or IT Helpdesk between 2018 and the present day.
DCC does not hold information regarding the effectiveness of the IT Service Desk in 2018, as a new PowerBI system was introduced in November 2020, and only very limited information is available prior to that as follows:
- Incident Report from 20th February 2020 to 5th July 2022 for DCC figures, and from 15th November 2020 to 5th July 2022 for Education figures.
- Telephony Report from 1st April 2019 to 30th June 2022
- Service Requests Report from 20th February 2020 until 5th July 2022.
Please note that these reports display figures for the entire Service Desk which supports internal DCC staff, partners and schools across the UK.
