All children and young people living in Devon have the right to access NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) services where their need for these services has been identified. These services are commissioned by NHS Devon ICB. DCC pools funding with NHS Devon Integrated Care Board (ICB) through a Section 75* arrangement and NHS Devon ICB are the lead commissioners for Children in Care CAMHS services and Therapeutic Wellbeing Services for Children open to our Bridges Service.
*Section 75 of the NHS Act 2006 allows partners (NHS bodies and councils) to contribute to a common fund which can be used to commission health or social care related services.
