1. Does your local authority have any involvement with a Local Food Partnership?
Yes.
2. If yes, what is the name of the Local Food Partnership?
Devon County Council hosts the Devon Food Partnership.
3. If yes, what is the nature of the involvement? E.g. does your local authority facilitate meetings, donate money or provide staff time to work on the Local Food Partnership.
Financial support comes from Devon County Council via the Public Health, Communities and Business Support and Innovation team budgets. Staff resource is provided via the Business Support and Innovation team to coordinate the Partnership. Representation from different parts of the council attend monthly steering group meetings to support the Partnership (Climate Emergency, Waste Team, Public Health, Communities, Business Support and Innovation).
4. If no, are you looking to establish a Local Food Partnership or cross-sector food strategy?

1 FTE Project Assistant and 0.2 Project Management.

No- not directly by the projects run. However, there is a ‘Food in Schools’ task group that looks to support access to healthy sustainable good food in schools.
