Following initial reporting of incident ref: W241706276 on 26/01/24 at 8:17am, when, if at all, the flooding has been assessed by Devon County Council.

The site was assessed on 29th January 2024 and a defect notice was raised to clear flooding D243825473.  The completion date was recorded as 16th February 2024.

If this report was assessed within 24 hours as per your website, as assessed as “where highways users can reasonably travel at 40mph or above.” as there were no warnings in place on 29/01/24.

While we endeavour to clean our drainage features the same time each year, however this cannot allows be possible, the gully in question was lasted cleaned during the 2022/23 financial year, the gully is still programmed to be cleaned during the 2023/24 before the 31st March and this will comply with Devon County Council policy.

Patching works were completed during the 2014/15 financial year, and further surface dressing was carried out during the 2015/16 financial year.
