Autistic Spectrum Disorder Teacher
What is the salary scale for an ASD Advisory Teacher within Devon County Council, from top to bottom with all spinal points in between? Please list the entire pay scale from top to bottom, i.e. most senior to most junior with all spinal points in between. |
To the best of our knowledge we do not have such a category of staff within Devon County Council. All special schools in Devon are independent in terms of decisions made on the categories and volume of staffing, However we have no experience of being asked to advise in any capacity regarding specialist teachers for Downs Syndrome either in special schools or in mainstream settings We have no specific pay school for such a category of staff. If staff were engaged to teach as specialists in this field in Community Schools, as things stand, they would be paid on established pay points within the defined pay ranges for teachers, main scale or upper pay spines. It would be the same as for other staff either with or without the SEN Allowance – in broad terms 30% (35% from 1st April 2024) This includes employers Teachers Pensions contributions 23.68% going to 28.68% from 1st April 2024 and NI contributions. The cost of the contract is £140 a day for driver and taxi only. No escort allocated so no escort charges. The journey between EX17 6RN to Lampard is scheduled for 55 minutes (depending on traffic) and 27 miles. |
