Please can I request the following information:
1) How much of the £190,000 budget for the ‘trial’ is remaining?
The remaining budget as of 9th October 2023 was approximately £57,000.
2) Where are the exact locations Devon County Council will be placing pollution monitoring equipment?
Air quality sensors that Devon County Council (DCC) are planning to install (in addition to Exeter City Council sensors) will be on:
- Polsloe Road, between Park Road and Pinhoe Road junctions.
- Polsloe Road, near Heavitree Road junctions.
- Pinhoe Road, between St Johns Road and Commins Road junctions.
- Lower Hill Barton Road, near Honiton Road junction.
3) Will the pollution monitoring equipment provide ‘live’ monitoring?
Yes, the air quality monitors will provide DCC with live data. Updates on this monitoring will be provided at future Exeter Highways and Traffic Orders Committee meetings.
4) When will these pollution monitors be installed?
The installation date is yet to be confirmed.
