I’m looking to make a Freedom of Information Request, to find out how many safeguarding complaints have been made against Grafton Childcare (URN: 104599. Address: 24 Torquay Road, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 1AJ) since its opening in 1991. If there is time constraints, the complaints since 2013 would suffice. I’d also like to request the nature of each complaint and what Ofsted did response.
During the full period referenced (1991 – 2023) and based on records we hold, we have had 2 safeguarding concerns against Grafton Childcare raised with the local authority.
Both complaints related to the standards of care provided. Neither were substantiated so far as the local authority were concerned. Ofsted were aware of these complaints. Ofsted should be asked directly for their comments
