Please could I have a copy of the EHCP decision making Panel’s terms of reference?
To clarify, I am requesting a copy of the Governence Document or Policy for the EHCP decision making panel. If this is not in existence (which would be in breach governance best practice) please confirm the following:
1) How often do the EHCP panel meet?
2) Who Chairs the panel meetings?
3) What is the required Quorum for Panel?
4) What is the procedure for making decisions without the formal Panel meeting?
5) What deadline is set for notes and paperwork to be with panel in advance of them meeting?
Please also provide me with a list of panel dates for the next 12 months?
Devon County Council has two panels for this, a Multi Agency 16 Week panel and Multi Agency Placement and Transport Panel. Information on these panels can be found at the following link Terms of Reference. The Multi Agency 16 Week panel meet weekly on Thursdays 0900-1130 and the Multi Agency Placement and Transport Panel meet weekly on Fridays 0900-1130. The termly meeting dates are not fully available for the next 12 months however, the next two dates are 11-12 March and 4-5 June 2024.
