On which date did the council contract with OLM for the new Eclipse IT system for children’s social care?
No new contract was formed for Eclipse. Devon County Council (DCC) already has an overarching contract with OLM delivering CareFirst. Eclipse is an upgrade from the current solution.
What was the estimated go-live date at that time?
We originally identified a go live date in the fourth quarter of 2017.
What is the current estimated go-live date?
The current go live date is the first quarter 2018.
Please provide a copy of the statement of requirements which the council issued to OLM. I do not require, at this stage, the supplier’s response, so there will be no need for redaction of commercially sensitive elements
A formal written statement of requirements has not been issued to OLM by DC, therefore we do not hold this information. Top level criteria developed in house, such as the need for the system to be intuitive and easy to use without lengthy instruction or training, were used in evaluation sessions.
