I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding the disabled parking bays located at Oak Tree Gardens, Ilfracombe. Specifically, I would like to know:
1. The current number of registered users of the disabled bays at Oak Tree Gardens, Ilfracombe.
This information is exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (Personal Data).
Devon County Council can confirm the requested information is held; however, the Council cannot disclose personal information if releasing it would contravene any of the provisions in the UK General Data Protection Regulation. In this instance release of this information would contravene the first data protection principle and therefore the information is withheld.
2. The number of available parking places allocated to disabled vehicles at any one time (relating to Oak Tree Gardens).
There are currently two disabled bays outside Oak Tree Gardens (this is a double disabled bay). A further single advisory disabled bay marked has been ordered.
3. Any available data on the usage of these disabled bays (e.g., how frequently they are used, time slots, etc.), if this information is recorded.
Devon County Council does not hold this information.
4. Results of the recent survey regarding usage of the disabled bays located at the lower part of Oak tree gardens.
Devon County Council does not hold this information.
5. Results of any consultation held prior to the painting of the new courtesy disabled bay painted toward the top of the road.
Devon County Council did not undertake any consultation as it was an advisory bay (i.e. no traffic order) therefore no consultation is required.
