Answers to questions are for 2022 calendar year only.
Furher, parental disability is not routinely recorded on Eclipse on parents records. We are therefore unable to determine parental disability without manually checking child records to see if parental disability is mentioned in assessments etc. To manually check 1411 records at 20 minutes a record would take longer than 18 hours and, therefore, we are not obliged to provide this information pursuant to section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 . Therefore the below answers take into account child disability only.
A child becoming looked after is not an outcome of a child protection plan. Instead we have given figures for children who were on a Child Protection plan and subsequently became looked after either immediately after Child Protection plan ceased or became looked after while still on a Child Protection plan. Also please note when a child becomes looked after there can be situations where the child remains in family home. The answers provided below do not necessarily indicate all these children were removed from their home.
