Please can Devon County Council confirm if there was a Memorandum of Dedication, a Conveyance to the Council with a plan annexed to it, or produce a copy of any documents that led to the adoption of Buckwell Road as a highway maintainable at public expense (HMPE)?
According to our records Buckwell Road became highway maintainable at public expense when Kingsbridge Urban District Council was responsible for the management of the highways before Devon County Council became the Highway Authority. Devon County Council does not hold a copy of the Memorandum of Dedication, a Conveyance to the Council with a plan annexed to it, or a copy of any documents that led to the adoption of Buckwell Road as a HMPE
