– Cllr Ketchin has been directly engaged with the proposal.
– Barnfield Road is a specific scheme within the Exeter Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP), which was endorsed by Exeter HATOC (Highways and Traffic Order Committee) in July 2023 and adopted by DCC Cabinet in January 2024. This gives approval to progress these designs.
– Next steps of the project will be presented at Exeter HATOC in January 2026, with the recommendations voted on by HATOC members.
