I request the calculations of the last 200 employees to receive Appendix E Payments for time in line with the Devon County Policy.
By way of an explanation regarding the Appendix E data provided, Devon County Council have started with the latest claims, 2017, and worked back to 2013. This identified less than 100 claimants in the last four years. The 18 hours* was reached because to obtain this information a manual interrogation of each claim had to be undertaken. However, within this time we were able to collate the information for 30 claimants.
* Under the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004 public authorities are not obliged to comply with requests which exceed the cost limit of £450 (equating to 18 hours of time). For this reason we believe that Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act applies (cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limits).
