In response to questions 1 and 2, Devon County Council do not have a stand alone strategy, but it is one of our shared priorities for the Corporate Plan.
3. Has your council voluntarily adopted the socio-economic duty?
Every local authority has a statutory duty to adopt the socio-economic clause of the Equalities Act. On the back of that, its built into our governance and reporting framework through the Equality Impact Assessment approach.
