Hi I am requesting the Risks Assessments carried for the following.
1/ Traffic Calming speed recommendations and solutions.
2/ Pedestrian walkway with no raised curb risk from vehicles driving on pavement to pedestrians especially children and elderly.
3/ Flooding of road and pavement risk to pedestrians having to walk in road or getting covered in surface water by vehicles.
4/ Parking of vehicles on the lower pavement pedestrians in the road.
5/ making the road one way to ease traffic congestion especially at school times.
6/ Noise from vehicles exceeding 30MPH present regulation or with sport exhausts not installed when vehicle built.
In relation to questions 1-6, we can confirm that we hold no risk assessments. Any investigation by Devon County Council and subsequent decision or responses will have been based upon Policy, Historic nature of road or the Highways Act.
7/ Why neighbouring roads have 20MPH and one way and why Alverdiscott Road an important school road has not?
We do not hold any information regarding this.
8/ what has been recommended by the police concerning this road?
We do not hold any information from the police regarding Alverdiscott Road.
