I would like to see a copy of any agreements between Devon County Council (and/or Mid Devon District Council) and an entity called ‘The Environment Bank’ in relation to habitat creation for biodiversity offset. I am aware of one in particular at Puddington Moor Farm, Tiverton. I would like to see the Section 106 Agreement alongside any other documentation, please.
Whilst Devon County Council (DCC) has been engaged in early negotiations with the Environment Bank about its proposed establishment and operation of a ‘Habitat Bank’ (i.e. to meet Biodiversity Net Gain requirements) in Mid Devon, there is no agreement in place with this Authority either at Puddington Moor Farm, Tiverton or elsewhere. Whilst Mid Devon District Council has also been involved in these negotiations, DCC does not hold any information relating to any agreement that it may have put in place with The Environment Bank.
