Between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2021:
1.How many children and family child protection investigations involved a child with a disability?
321 Section 47 meetings involving at least one child with a disability
2. How many children and families child protection investigations involved concerns about FII (Fabricated or Induced Illness), perplexing presentations or Munchausen syndrome by proxy?
3. How many of those went to a court hearing?
4. How many children have become ‘looked after’ in cases involving concerns about FII (Fabricated or Induced Illness), perplexing presentations or Munchausen syndrome by proxy?
Devon County Council believes compliance with the above 3 questions would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time. To collect the information requested would require a manual investigation of each child’s record. This would take a minimum of 5 minutes per record, which equates to over 26 hours.
