11. When was the last time that Blue Badge parking provision was reviewed?

DCC’s policy for the provision of disabled parking bays on the highway was last reviewed in March 2009*

12. What action was taken following this review? Were numbers of disabled bays increased, decreased or no action taken?

DCC’s approach to the provision of disabled parking bays has always been to assess need via inviting applications from residents requiring assistance parking near their homes. Bays are only removed at such time that they are no longer required, for example an applicant moves out or stops driving*

13. When did you last increase the number of Blue Badge parking spaces?

DCC’s approach to the provision of disabled parking bays has always been to assess need via inviting applications from residents requiring assistance parking near their homes. Bays are only removed at such time that they are no longer required, for example an applicant moves out or stops driving. Therefore it is reasonable to expect iterative increase in bays placed on highway* month by month.
