We do not record the number of human injury collisions involving deer in the data recording structure but infer the instances by searching for “deer” in the free text description that comes from the Police officer’s account of what happened. Please see map of collisions provided reflecting this data for the last 10 years for which data is held (2009 to 2018). We have found eight records of injury collisions in the Haldon Hill vicinity involving deer. Just to confirm, the road collision dataset we use is Stats19 data, which is human injury collisions on the public highway reported to/recorded by the Police, the collection of which is governed by the Department for Transport.
