Please could you provide me with the amount of:
a) parent/attendance contracts,

b) parenting orders
c) penalty notices in cases of behaviour/exclusion in your local authority for the academic years 2023/24, 2022/23 and 2021/22.
Could you break the contracts down by if they were agreed by parents and schools or parents and local authorities?
In response to b and c, this information is not held. This is because parenting orders or penalty notices are not issued for behaviour/exclusions.
We only issue penalty notices for non-attendance where the absences are unauthorised by the school. Parenting Orders are only granted by the Courts if parents have been prosecuted for non-attendance, again where absences are unauthorised.
Exclusions would be authorised absences and so would not count towards the national framework threshold or our Code of Conduct.
