If the information is held it would be contained within the notes of the care files of individual children as part of an overall case. To retrieve the information would require a manual search of every looked after child’s social care record to confirm if there was a recorded concern of parents/ carers were at risk of physical violence from the child.
In 2023 374 children became looked after. It would take at least 45 minutes per case to locate, identify and extract the data requested. This would equate to at least 280 hours of work.
