Compliance with this request would exceed the appropriate cost limit under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time. The requested information is not recorded against the organisation itself, but rather would have been recorded against children who had links
to the school through a school/pupil relationship. To confirm if this information is held would require a manual search of all archive records held, which would take hundreds of hours of staff time.
Additionally, unless the children involved were open to Devon social services, it is likely that if the Council held this information previously, it would have been destroyed in line with the Councils Record retention schedule – Keeping Devon’s Data policy.
