Heavitree and Whipton Low Traffic Neighbourhoods – Changes in Boundary Traffic

Regarding the Active Streets scheme in Heavitree and Whipton, I would like to understand how any changes in boundary traffic compare to broader changes affecting the whole city. You selected Bus route 5/5c as a control for bus time analysis. Would you be able to share Automatic Traffic Counter (ATC) data from the A377 at points between between Cowley Bridge and the city centre so as to provide a control point to compare to. Data broken down in the same way as you have shared for the boundary routes.

There is one ATC on Cowley Bridge Road itself, between Wrefords Drive and West Garth Road. Also included in the table below are flows on the A377 Bonhay Road near Mill on the Exe. The flows are 12-hour (07:00-19:00) weekday vehicular flows, and are provided for the same date ranges as used for the January 2024 Highway and Traffic Orders Committees (HATOC) update for traffic on the boundary roads.
