Please provide the job description and salary level of the member of staff who creates your accessible PDFs e.g. Policy documents, digital leaflets/flyers, brochures etc. to conform to WCAG.
The County Council does not have a member of staff dedicated to creating accessible PDFs.
Our corporate digital and accessibility policies and associated guidance generally discourages the use of PDFs within our organisation and promotes the publishing of all material in an accessible manner as html content.
PDFs may still, on occasion, be created by a range of staff within services, although their use is decreasing. These staff will not be in roles dedicated to digital or other publishing and are employed on a wide range of job descriptions and salary levels.
