Number of young people referred to mental health services that were placed in unregulated accommodation between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020 

7 young people were receiving an active service when placed in unregulated accommodation.

However, we are unable to provide the number of referrals without reviewing each individual case record. We estimate that to carry out this exercise per record would take on average 10 minutes for 163 records.  Therefore to conclude this exercise would take approximately 27 hours to complete.

Under the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004 public authorities are not obliged to comply with requests which exceed the cost limit of £450 (equating to 18 hours of time).  For this reason we believe that Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act applies (cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limits)
