Torbay Ring Road

Can you please say what plans are in place or proposed to enforce the speed limit on the Torbay Ring Road/South Devon Highway?

Except for a short length at Marldon, Torbay Ring Road is the responsibility of Torbay Council not Devon County Council. We would therefore recommend that you approach Torbay Council; their contact details can be found on their website at:

However, we can confirm that the issue of traffic speeds on the South Devon Highway has been debated at each of the 6 meetings of Teignbridge Highways and Traffic Orders Committee since March 2016.
