Schools complaints – Babcock Learning Development Partnership (LDP)

1. Has Devon County Council (DCC) instructed or used the any of the services offered by Babcock to heard complaints that where raised to public schools in the County between the 12 November 2018 and the 14 December 2018 and/or that where heard during the same periods.

Devon County Council has contracted Babcock LDP to provide this service to schools and Babcock LDP has facilitated the use of an independent, external expert to advise governors in the correct application of their complaints policy and procedure.

2. If the answer to point 1 is “yes”, could you please communicate:
a) The name of the schools where DCC decided to send Babcock representative.

We hold this information but as disclosure may identify individuals and be in breach of the first principle of the Data Protection Act 2018 we consider it is exempt under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Section 40(2) Personal Data

b) The date and time of meetings attended and the reasons for it.
