Please provide all information submitted in support of TTRO2139304. I would like to see the justification for this closure and the schedule of works/activities or the programme of works for all activities to be undertaken
This road closure is for E-On. They are installing a District heating system along London Road, for the new development. They are laying the pipe from the junction with Court Royal, to the junction of Younghayes Road. This is 1334.00m, and due to the position of the pipe, they need to close the road. Both the Neighbourhood Highway Officer and the Network Enforcement Officer have had site meetings, and are happy with this.
Additional information, after initial disclosure:
Site meetings took place between Devon County Council and the contractors however, these discussions about plans and traffic management do not have formal written records.
London Road TTRO2 is the application made under Sec 14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to close the road to facilitate execution of these works
Sec 50 SWL2 is the application made by E-On under Sec 50 New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 to carry out their works on London Road.
