Procurement Contracts with a value of over £10,000

“What number, and value, of procurement contracts and/or tenders with a value of over £10,000 have been issued by the Council, but not listed on the Contracts Finder website, in a) current financial year b) each financial year since 2015/16?

Contracts over £25,000 are publicly available to review on Contracts Finder and our Pro Contract advertisement portal.

DCC may hold information about contracts and tenders below the value of £25,000 but as there is no central record of these as they are an unknown number managed by lots of teams across the organisation, to locate, retrieve and collate the information would take well in excess of 18 hours. This means that the information is exempt under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Section 12 – Cost of Compliance.

What, if any, standing orders does the Council have in relation to when a procurement contract and/or tender must be published on the Contracts Finder website, including any specified minimum contract value, setting out the method by which the contract is issued i.e. single quotation, three quotations or tender?

This information is publicly available on the Devon County Council’s website within the Council’s Constitution here.  In particular, please refer to the Procedures for Contracts and Tenders part of DCC’s Financial Regulations.

Any internal guidelines, documents or policies relating to when procurement contracts and/or tenders should or should not be published on the Contracts Finder website.”

Pro Contract publishes all relevant procurements direct to Contracts Finder.  Other information pertaining to this question is publicly available on the Devon County Council’s website within the Council’s Constitution here.
