For questions 4 and 5 (figures prior to April 2016), information is not held centrally.  In order to locate, retrieve and extract this data, each social worker file (past and present) would need to be individually reviewed to identify any occupational health involvement.

There are currently 432 social workers employed by the Council.  On a conservative estimate of 5 minutes to review each file, we estimate it would take in the region of 36 hours to complete (which does not include files for social workers who are not currently employed by the Council).

The Council therefore cannot disclose this data under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 – ‘Cost of Compliance’.
