The Dart Vale and South Pool Harriers are holding their Boxing Day meet at the Quay in Kingsbridge and the Modbury Harriers are holding theirs on Boxing Day in the Main Street through Modbury. Both meets will involve road closures. There are signs on the Kingsbridge road stating that traffic will be slow and that the road will be closed for a while on Boxing Day.
The A379 is the main artery road for all emergency vehicles between Dartmouth and Plymouth.
Please can you supply me the applications made to you by these Hunts for road closures on Boxing Day.
We can confirm that Devon County Council did not receive an application from the Dart Vale and South Pool Harriers for road closure in 2018.
Devon County Council did receive an application from the Modbury Harriers. The application form contains personal data relating to members of the Modbury Harriers and disclosure of that document is therefore exempt pursuant to s. 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
