Issuing of Temporary Event Notice Licences

Request:

“Please provide me with the name and contact details of the manager responsible for the issuing and enforcement of Temporary Event Notice (TEN) licenses.”

Response:

Please note that Temporary Event Notices (TENs) are issued and enforced by the “licensing authority”.  This is not a function of Devon County Council (DCC) but is, instead, a function of the relevant District/Borough or City Council in whose area the event is taking place.

The County Council, as the Highway Authority, is only responsible in respect of any Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTROs) which may be in place for the event.

In light of the above, we would suggest you redirect your request to the relevant district/borough/city Council.  In the interests of providing advice and assistance, contact details are provided here.
