2016 – 2018 – 3 Treatment Centres

North Devon and Torridge, based in Bideford with satellite in Barnstaple;

Exeter, East and Mid Devon based in Exeter with satellites in Tiverton and Axminster;

South Devon based in Newton Abbot

2015 – 2016 – 5 Treatment Centres:

North Devon based in Bideford;

Torridge & West Devon based in Okehampton;

Exeter based in Exeter;

East and Mid Devon based in Tiverton;

South Devon based in Newton Abbot 

The total number of places available at any one given time at drug and alcohol outpatient services covered by your Local Authority for the past three financial years, starting from 2017/18 and working backwards.  

Please only include outpatient services that involve some form of face-to-face counselling or therapy; exclude online and telephone therapy.

Devon County Council do not commission a set number of places so there was no cap on the total number of places available at any one time in 2015/16, 2016/17 or 2017/18 at drug and alcohol treatment services in Devon, therefore this information is not held.

Devon County Council commissioned drug and alcohol treatment services from Addaction in 2017/18.  Information on the number of places in private drug and alcohol inpatient clinics are not held by Devon County Council.
