Please note, the data relating to under 18’s is not available for 2017/2018 and 2018/2019.

Please also note, whilst we do hold figures for deaths of under 18’s, for subsequent years, disclosing this information risks identifying the families due to the low number.  This would breach General Data Protection Regulation and is exempt from disclosure pursuant to s.40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act.

2a. The number of deaths notified to the council, involving Covid-19 amongst home care (domiciliary care) service users, by the day or month of notification since records began in 2020 until 28 February 2021

The total number of confirmed Covid 19 deaths across this period are 28

2b. For the total number of deaths referenced in Question 2a, could you state how many people died as a result of confirmed Covid-19, suspected Covid-19, and did not die of Covid-19.

Due to Data Protection and Official Statistics legislation, Devon County Council are unable to report figures at a lower level
