We are hoping to better understand the spend brackets for Direct Payment users, in terms of the type of providers they are using and what they are spending their budgets on.
I request any information that is held on the amount of spend (£) for Direct Payment users, by the type of provider the funds are spent on.
By provider types, we are referring to e.g. homecare agencies, personal assistants, equipment suppliers, supported accommodation, cleaning agency etc. In terms of spend periods, any time measurement that is available will be helpful, for example the last 12 months, or the latest FY record on date would be ideal (whatever is possible to obtain).
We do not hold this information. A client is assessed and the monetary amount to meet those needs is £ xxx per week. How they choose to spend that money to meet their needs is up to them, that is the very essence of Direct Payments.
