The procurement is: CPQ1729-19c Cullompton Eastern Relief Road – Ecology. I would like to request all of the bidders tenders and DCC’s assessment of each under the Freedom of Information Act.
Whilst we acknowledge the need to be open, all information which is submitted in respect of a tender bid is deemed to be confidential to the bid and disclosure of the assessment would prejudice Devon County Council’s future assessment of tenders and the commercial interests of both the council and private interests of companies who will be likely to bid for contracts with the council. It is not in the public interest to impact on the tender process and fair and confidential assessment of tender bids. This information is therefore exempt from disclosure pursuant to s.43 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
