Asset Management Software

Which asset management software (AMS) are you using for following assets of your council?

– Highways (when did this contract start, when would it expire and what is the annual spend)

– Street Lighting (when did this contract start, when would it expire and what is the annual spend)

Devon County Council operates an integrated Highways Management System for asset management of these areas. This is provided by WDM. This contract commenced in 2014 and will expire in 2021. The typical annual spend is £260,000

We also use Roadworks.org for cross-boundary co-ordination of streetwork and the Traffic Management App for communicating temporary traffic management arrangements. Both of these products are provided by Elgin on a 12 month rolling contract.

The annual cost of Roadworks.org is £9,180
The annual cost of Traffic Management App is £12,240

– Waste and Recycling (when did this contract start, when would it expire and what is the annual spend)

We do not use any AMS for managing the assets in Waste and Recycling and we therefore do not hold this information

– Street Cleaning (when did this contract start, when would it expire and what is the annual spend)

Street Cleaning is the responsibility of district, city and unitary councils.  We therefore recommend that you contact them for this information.  Contact details can be found on our website at:
