These questions all relate to persons under age 65 living a residential care home paid for all or in part by your council’s social care budget

2) How much disposable income/PEA do care home residents have available each week for their needs?

We adhere to the Care and Support Statutory (CASS) guidance issued by the Department of Health & Social Care, Annexe C: Treatment of Income, Personal Expenses Allowance, 43). The rates are regularly updated within the Social care – charging for care and support: local authority circular LAC as issued by the Department of Health & Social Care.
