Academy policy

I have been very saddened to hear the academies are insisting pupils school work is taken down from walls and are cleared and everything is laminated.

If that is what they think is their priority then they shouldn’t be responsible for educating our children.

Under freedom of information act I would like to know:

What is their policy around taking down pupils work, what they laminate  and which schools are they enforcing this in and why.

In IDE the children had to spend the afternoon watching a film whilst the teachers had to rip down all the children’s artwork so the walls were clear

Devon County Council does not hold this information as academy schools set their own policies.  We would therefore recommend that you contact any academy schools direct that you are concerned about.
