Procurement of Trading Standards System

1. Please provide the Number of occasions officers and members of the Trading Standards team at Devon County Council have met with representatives from Civica UK Ltd, in the last 18 months. Please provide dates and times.

Civica UK Ltd are Devon County Council’s current provider, so there have been elements of ‘business as usual’ within the below meetings.

2.Please confirm which other vendors have been approached with respect to selecting a replacement Trading Standards system.

Research has taken place via the Digital Marketplace and to supplement this we engaged directly with Tascomi, Northgate and Idox.

3.Please confirm whether a decision has been made to direct award the contract for the APP Trading Standards system upgrade. If so please provide a copy of the officer / member authorisation for said direct contract award.”

No official decision/sign off has been reached at this point. Therefore we do not hold an officer or member authorisation.
