1. How many minors (children under the age of 18) were successfully reunited with family members in 2016 and also in 2017 under Dublin III family reunion provisions? I request that this number should include all ‘Calais referrals’ – i.e. minors referred to your local authority following the demolition of the Calais camp in late 2016 to reunite with family.
2016 = 32.
01/04/2017 – to date = We hold this information but as disclosure may identify individuals it is exempt under the Freedom of information Act 2000 Section 40 – Personal data.
2. Out of this total number, how many are still living with the family member(s)?
We do not hold this information.
3. And how many are now in local authority care (including those that went straight into care because their family couldn’t look after them)?
23 ( as of September 2017)
