2. What is the total number of off-street car parks (not spaces)?
There are 5 off street car parks available to the public that require payment at Stover Country Park, County Hall, Grand Western Canal, Taw View, and Sowton Park & Ride.
3. What is the total number of on-street car parks (not spaces)? An on-street car park is usually those in towns or cities that are on a main road and not a specific plot of land that we know as a car park – specific plots of lands with parking bays would be classed as off-street (like a supermarket car park, as an example). On-street example–on a seaside towns seafront, or in a city in front of a row of shops where single space meters used to be, or a meter that only manages a few spaces.
