WordPress CMS, kept updated to the most recent release.

2. Is your public facing council website hosted and supported by a third party IT partner or on-premise? If a third party, when does your current contract expire?

The website is hosted remotely by a third party. We currently renew our hosting arrangements annually, in August.

3. When was your public facing council website launched?

The public website was live by 1996 on the devon.cc, and in 2000 on the devon.gov.uk domain.

4. What are your separate budgets for hosting/supporting and development for your public facing council website?

All development and support is undertaken in-house, we do not have separate budgets as requested in the question.

5. Which team/department/individual is responsible for maintaining your public facing council website?

The Communications Team.

1.When was your public facing council website last audited for accessibility compliance?

We audit weekly for any significant issues, the last full review of the devon.gov.uk website was on 16 September 2020 and we are currently conducting a full review to conclude in September 2022.

The Communications Team.

1.Do you work with external marketing/communications suppliers to create content for your public facing services?

Yes, occasionally.

2. When was the last time you conducted a content audit on your website to remove outdated content?

We don’t conduct fixed audits as such, we respond to feedback, work with (and rely on services / product owners / content owners) to review content and we will review sections on an as-needs basis if we think content is out of date.
