From 2013 could you provide me with data of:-
How many sites have hosted an internship programme for young people with a learning disability across Devon.
Since 2013 all three of Devon’s FE (Further Education) Colleges have delivered Supported Internship programmes of varying sizes and at various sites across the county, as per the Department for Education Specification. In addition, a small number (2 or sometimes 3) of Independent FE providers have also hosted programmes when the need arose within their student populations.
How many people with a learning disability have been placed in the above sites?
This information is not held by Devon County Council. The data is held by the providers themselves.
How many of those from above have secured employment with over 16 hours per week.
This information is not held by Devon County Council. The data is held by the providers themselves.
How much does has this costed the council in running the above programmes yearly.
Supported Internships are delivered using a combination of Department for Education, ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency) funding and DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) funding. Local Authorities are not required to fund Supported Internships from its own core funding and so there has been no cost to Devon in running the programmes above.
