Additionally the dragon patcher completed a scheme in July 2020 where it picked up 16 safety defects and completed 178m2 of spray injection patching (including serviceability).
The dragon patcher is a relatively new method of patching whereby hot material is applied by spray injection onto the affected area. It comes with the dragon flame which can dry out damp road surfaces improving the adhesion of the repair.

Notes on the table:
Asset – this is an element that makes up the overall highway like the road, pavement, street lights, road signs or, as in this case, a drainage feature.
There are no gullies (a commonly seen drainage fitting with a metal cover on top) on the road in question, but it does have a number of ‘grips’ which are shallow channels at the road edge to allow rainwater to drain away into the nearest ditch.
Operational on Leaving – whether the drainage feature is working properly upon completion of the inspection/cleaning.
Vehicle Over – a vehicle parked over area making the drainage feature inaccessible and cleaning is not possible.
Broken lids – relating to highway gullies, this means the metal cover at carriageway (road) level is broken.
Needles – indicating there may be a risk of injury to the operative cleaning the feature from sharps, needles or syringes present.
