There has been no change in frequency for cutting Devon County Council verges in 2025 or 2026. Devon County are not responsible for parks these are the responsibility of Districts and Parish Councils.
2. Please confirm whether grass is being cut less in mid-Summer and more in Spring and Autumn.
Our grass cutting season starts in April and ends in September, the frequency is spread evenly from April to September.
A first cut is generally from April to June and a final cut between August and September. Additional cuts where necessary, for safety reasons, may be undertaken throughout the growing season.
