At the recent Slapton Parish Council AGM, Councillor Julian Brazil stated that Devon County Council had sent detailed costings for the £18 million estimate to the Department for Transport (DfT).
Please provide electronic copies of the following recorded information:
1. The detailed costings, cost estimate, cost plan or equivalent document or documents supplied by Devon County Council to the Department for Transport in relation to the estimated £18 million cost of repairing or rebuilding the A379 at Slapton Line.
The full submission to the DfT has not yet been issued. However, in response, information regarding the current status of this project is available in this recently published A379 Rebuild response.
2. Any spreadsheets, schedules, appendices, bills of quantities, itemised breakdowns or supporting documents supplied with those costings.
3. Any document supplied with the costings that identifies the assumptions, exclusions, allowances, contingencies or risk provisions included within the £18 million estimate.
4. The covering letter or email by which the detailed costings were transmitted to the Department for Transport, including a list of any attachments.
In response to questions 2-4, as a result of the current status of this project Devon County Council does not hold the requested information.
