Following the clearance of the gullies on 17.12.24 that lay beneath the footpath leading from Culver Close (outside Ringmer) to Parsonage Lane, Bradninch, Exeter, Devon, due to roots entering the clay pipes (which are combined public sewer and rainwater drains) thus restricting the flow which then backed up and into people’s houses. I would like to know what the maintenance programme is for the clearance of this section of drainage.

Culver Close (outside Ringmer) to Parsonage Street, Bradninch is not a highway maintainable at public expense (HMPE) therefore the Council is not responsible for clearance of this section of drain and it is not on a Council maintenance programme. You may wish to re-direct your request to South West Water or the district council.
