I formally request the following under the Freedom of Information Act:
1. All public complaints or internal reports regarding the specific pothole and wider stretch of the Exeter Road to Avonwick between July 2024 and February 2025.
2. Inspection schedules and maintenance records for this section of road during the same period.

Information that is greyed out is exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (Personal Data).
The Council cannot disclose personal information if releasing it would contravene any of the provisions in the UK General Data Protection Regulation. In this instance release of this information would contravene the first data protection principle and therefore the information is withheld.
3. Full details of the recent road closure and repair works ‘ including documentation explaining why full resurfacing was not undertaken, despite the clearly unsafe condition of the road.

These repairs would have been undertaken with short term road closures where necessary with signing advising of long delays. These repairs were undertaken in response to identified defects in accordance with the County Council’s Highway Safety Policy.
The road is not currently identified as priority for resurfacing in the Council’s programme.
